Before Velvyne, there was a scarf.

Faded from wear, its edges softened, its pattern almost gone —
but to my grandmother, it was everything.

She wore it to weddings. To funerals. To the ordinary Tuesdays that somehow still felt worth dressing up for.

When she gave it to me, she didn't say much. She just wrapped it around my shoulders and told me it would know what to do.

That moment changed what getting dressed meant to me.

It was never about trends.
It was about the feeling of putting something on and becoming, for a moment, exactly who you wanted to be.

So my co-founder and I built Velvyne to hold onto that feeling —
